Im gonna say 86 IROC-Z because i think that is part of the exterior 3rd mount brake light in the top of the 2nd picture. |

Is it me or are the numberplates different? |

That's what I said in French above: logically it should be the same car, I do not know if it is made on purpose or not, as it is bad guys' car. |

Looks like they were not keeping track of the license plates. The picture of the front of the Camaro has real CA plates."1P" would be issued to a '86. The shot of the Camaro's rear has obviously fake plates. |

Interestingly, although the two hitmen are in this car when Cain assigns them to whack Foley, they use the other Camaro to attack him at the club. |

The www.bar.ca.gov smog test website links this license plate # to a '86 Camaro. |

My original post was wrong for anyone who rear it.. I am sry. Here is a link to prove that it is a 1986 Iroc-Z http://www.iroczone.com/techartspottersguide.html#option (Bottom of page) though i remember the brake light be inside the glass at one point... Anyway I think there was another 3rd gen at 13:48. Looks Maroon but might be the sun/angle -- Last edit: 2009-04-29 05:52:01 |

Umm I don't really think that a website would link that plate n car together.. Unless people are just guessing; like we are on here lol |

There's no such thing as an IROC-Z28. |

Chevrolet made the IROC-Z28 FROM 1985 TO 1992,when it was replaced with the all new Z28. |

When I first watched this film, I thought there was a huge continuity error where this third-gen mistakenly reverts to a second-gen between scenes. I guess the evil villain organization just has a collection of black "villain" Camaros. In that case, I would have taken a 67-69 to do my "jobs." -- Last edit: 2013-01-26 23:20:03 |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the IROC-Z28 first introduced for the 1988 MY? |
◊ 2020-04-06 01:09 |
The IROC is part of the Z28 package which was introduced in 1985 model year. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Camaro_(third_generation)#1985 |

but IROC alone ( without Z28 ) was 1988-1990 ( not the case for the car here, just an additional precision |

Those are still IROC-Z |
