Yes, but which? A, B, E or F? |

Not an E or an F, the rear quarter bumpers do not extend around the number plate, so pre-1952 model, unless modified. http://www.dvca.co.uk/sale-results-view.php?classic-cars=Riley-RME8237 To tell if it's 1 1/2 or 2 1/2 litre we need to see the colour of the blue diamond, or the length of the front wings/bonnet. -- Last edit: 2013-11-30 09:27:58 |

I don't understand the Zephyr Six in the foreground. It has the chromium plated strip along the whole body side (compare withe earlier ones just covering half the front wing) introduced in October 1953 on the 1954 MY, but when Ford did just that they also introduced flasher type direction indicators, instead of the earlier semaphore models. Would this one be a 1952 or 53 MY with additional chrome strip or were there 1954 MY with semaphore direction indicators? 1952+ because of the redesigned facia. |

^ Details on Aus-assembled Zephyrs may not follow UK sequence exactly. As for the Riley, the usual context is that Aus did not like smaller engines, so I suggest 2½-Litre RMB to clear it. |
