It's probably meant to be a US army base in West Germany (or West Berlin). The embassy wouldn't have Jeeps parked outside. |

It's meant to be the headquarter of the 5th US-Corps in Frankfurt. Actually they were resident in the former IG-Farben-Haus (Poelzig-Bau), which is way more presentable. |

DatsunZ is correct w/ M38 & M151. The CJ2A has a different windshield, grille, headlights, parking lights, fuel filler, front cowling, folding top mechanism, and top stowage bow brackets on the drivrs side. |

Markings on bumper on nearest Jeep are for "Berlin Command" ("BC xx") VW at curb behind them has what looks like US Forces in Germany plates,1966-72 style issue. |
