This scene was the reenactment of the attempted murder of John Ibrahim who was stabbed during a confrontation with two unknown men in Kings Cross, Sydney one night in July 1986. In the report, Ibrahim was walking down the Strip when he saw a confrontation between Louis Bayeh; the brother of Kings Cross kingpin; William Bayeh and two other men and went to intervene when one of the two men pulled a large knife and stabbed Ibrahim in the chest.
