I'd agree, and would suggest an Opel Olympia [OL38]. In sixteen years and bearing in mind the 1939-45 unpleasantness, Italians can be forgiven for artisanal modifications, no? |

Probably either a car originally moved to Italy by a foreign turist in the early postwar years or a car originally brought to Italy by a WWII German officer during the war. |
