 I'm fairly this style of wheel were introduced in 1995. Earlier high spec Mavericks used these ones: /vehicle_61810-Ford-Maverick-R20-1993.html

Here's a (late) 1995 brochure showing these wheels:

The only other view in the episode is this:

Which is unclear on whether there is the May 1995+ chromed grille.

 Glass's has May 95 as range facelift - chromed front grille and door handles, front fogs, body colour bumpers and mirrors, canvas spare wheel cover. GLX 3 dr and 5dr got new "dished" alloys with 235/R15 tyres. Poverty trim versions all became Aspen.

Then July 96 - GLX became GLS with new engine, grille, round headlights, bumpers, bonnet scoop. All Aspens dropped, leaving just GLS in very small range.
