Well, the Bundeswehr took two Leo 2 after 1999 to the Kosovo, but they never have used it, although it was planned. Because the Balkan-streets and -villages were too narrow and the bridges to weak. So the two Leos could never leave the barracks-area. the Saudis wanted to buy 200 Leopard 2 yet because of political crap they cancelled the order and buy russian crap instead , just when you need jobs in Germany think the industry would want to hang the politicians .. |
