I've had my first and unique derailment on this exactly same autorail in 1971 on a trip with my father. The autorail had one wheel axle broken, fortunately at low speed I remember we had wait some hours before a replacement Billard went from Dignes to pick up the voyagers and continues the link to Dignes.

Superb!

From CP-Chemin de Fer de Provence - 1 meter width rail track , Nice-Dignes les Bains .
