It looks like a Caterpillar 12, seen from here. It could be a Komatsu too, since we are in Thailand.

Quite Caterpillar-ish to me but that's how far I can guess.

sorry but to ID graders you need a good cabin view

unfortunatly this one doesn't have a cabin and neither good view...

for comparison, does anybody really believe this could be solved ? and looks way too far in background for 1 star

I put some likely options there, Caterpillar 12 , early Komatsu GD 37 , Averling Barford and a Galion but as you can see it's just not visible enough to make out any details....

how about an Adams .. you see the plate isn't really that much of a clue

I think it's probably not Komatsu and is probably American.
