It has been modified for the film by having cutouts in the sides and benches added to make it look like a German Hannomag, which is an altogether larger vehicle. However I think the effect is pleasing. As well as Raid on Rommel this M3 also has a very brief appearance in Tora Tora Tora, this time painted green and in American colours.
