CSA 703 = early 1946 Aberdeen issue. From an extras film "Caller Herrin" (1947) - http://ssa.nls.uk/film.cfm?fid=0388 - a Central Office of Information film for the Scottish Home Department. Some footage used in main film, but nothing with this truck. Is it a Scammell?? |

Ex-WD Ford or Chevrolet C15A CMP. Made in Canada for British Army, therefore earlier than 1946. -- Last edit: 2013-04-30 08:45:46 |

Are you sure it's a Ford and not a Chevrolet ? There is a bar in the middle of the grille (Ford have no bar), the grille looks made from expanded sheet in a diamond pattern (only Chevrolet have), and i dont see the horn (On the Ford this was mounted to the rear of the bumper on the left hand side ) |

I thought it was a Ford due to the small holes in the edges of the bumper ... |
