was there any equivalent of Scammell Scarab (or FAR ) in Italy?...or could it be a Scammell? |

Don't recall that Scammell and FAR have sold their vehicles in Italy;'cause in postwar Italy was there a shortage of many things(included fuels scarcity)I think an electric powered 3-wheeled truck(were more diffused also in prewar period, especially in '30s autarchic period) -- Last edit: 2007-06-05 22:28:50 |

And one of known Makes were FIAMM(Fabbrica Italiana Accumulatori e Motocarri Montecchio),a Brand started from electric parts for motor vehicles(overall horns and battery accumulators, that does still today),that thru '30s to early'40s have built just electric heavyweight 3-wheeled trucks(the trailer attached at vehicle could be a need of the period for transport much goods more, being usually those vehicles in solo-way driven, without trailers) -- Last edit: 2007-06-05 22:30:33 |

I believe could be a FIAMM,given that movie was located in Milan,no more far from town which these 3-wheeled electric trucks were built(but that don't means it could be of that Brand) |
