@rjluna2: :hello: Please note the "DAIMON"-advertisement. It was a popular German brand for battery torchlamps and bulbs.
The founder and owner of htis company http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Schmidt_%28Unternehmer%29 was also the founder of the battery torchlamp and dry batteries ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_battery_sizes )

Oh, there's a German battery torchlight-collector's forum: http://www.taschenlampen-forum.de/ :)
pics of the Bundeswehr torchlight: http://www.taschenlampen-forum.de/alte-taschenlampen/2263-daimon-414-bw-tala.html
(if you need one: they are to find on every classic car- or other fleamarket)

Thanks ingo ;)

I made a comment at Internet Movie Light Bulb Database. I hope I spell it correctly as DAIMON Tascheslampen :/

Here is my well worn Eveready Energizer Halogen Flashlight in my collection with Osram halogen bulb of course ;)

Taschenlampe (singular), Taschenlampen (plural). With "n", not "s" ;)

I plan on taking elective requirement for the summer semester at the university. I have 4 courses to choose: Arts, French, German or Spanish. Since I am hard of hearing, I don't know if I can manage to hear/speak in German language if I take that class :p

When I was growing up I had to take up with the Speech Therapist to talk in English language correctly during my school years. If I were talking with you in person, you probably would hear my small part of deaf accent :p

I probably end up taking Arts class :p

To know foreign languages is always good, but o.k., a kind of problem for you. But Arts is fine, too - can we expect nice drawings from you soon? Our painterman here was getting lost somehow a time ago.

 I did do some drawing years ago when I was a child. Now, I don't do much of drawing now. Not like our former friend here :p Besides there are a choices of music or drama in the course listing. I'll probably pick the latter one :D
