1) Not DAF LF. .gif ";)") Renault Midlums are to meet also in the two-tone paint schemes, and it must be case of this one. See that the side covers are painted grey, the fenders were perhaps also painted this way to match them. But anyway it is matter of the fender shape, which is different in Renault (and Volvo). At the top it is concaved and this way it more smoothly fits to the cabine side wall surface. This difference is very well visible also at the pics you have linked. Truck in film has fenders of the "Renault type". Also DAF has notable wind flaps at the cabine front edges, which this truck doesn't have. 2) Sure, we can be picky, but I'm sure we both perfectly know, that in Europe, this cabine is mostly to meet in DAFs, Renaults and Volvos. -- Last edit: 2012-12-06 14:28:45 |
