A really nice car, but we have to wait one more year. |

I already saw two 2013 Fusions, one from 'The Amazing Race' in Berlin (The Episode will air on this sunday). The other one was from an american soldier, both looked really nice. But I didn't have the chance to see get a closer look, sadly. |

My wife is still waiting for her dreamcar, which shall come in late 2013 to Europe - the Ford Edge. Do you know, if a manual gearbox and a Diesel-engine will be specially made for Europe? |

Someone in my neighbor village bought a Ford Edge Sport. |

My wife has already seen two Edges here, one with German, one with Dutch plates, but the official export to Europe hasn't started, so they are private imports. |

Though Diesel manual cars are very unamerican, it will possibly be available with that, if they want to sell it here. -- Last edit: 2013-04-19 20:45:00 |

Indeed, the official export hasn´t started yet. I´m pretty sure the Edge will come with a Diesel engine, but most probably only with the stronger one. I guess it will be available with these engines: 1.6 Ecoboost (150 hp, 182 hp, 240 hp), 2.0 TDCi (163 hp), 2.2 TDCi (200 hp) |

Although I dislike Ford -as you know- I would be happy, if my wife would buy one (but Diesel and manual gearbox are two absolute musts for her) - it's too big for our garage, so I could occupy the garage for my K 70 ![]() -- Last edit: 2013-04-19 21:13:49 |

Made in Mexico, origin Germany? |

Mexico yes for Energi/Hybrids. Flat Rock only built supplement gasoline powered models. Mexico supplied the bulk of the volume. The Fusion/Mondeo are tricky with regard to origin. I don't know if a simple Germany or US flag will suffice. For now, instead up upending the database, US origin shall work. |

Somewhat offtopic, but should the 2020-present Escapes/Kugas all be under USA if the design work was done here? |
