It's a standard London Transport trolleybus 1948+, but I've been unable to find out who made it. |

British United Traction (BUT), a joint company owned by the Associated Equipment Company (AEC) and Leyland Motors produced chassis for the post war batch, coachwork by Metro-Cammell, controllers by English Electric, motors by Metropolitan Vickers. This certainly applies to Class Q1 no. 1768, in preservation, and I think to most, if not all of the other Q1s. |
