Plymodge? LeGranfifthbaron? I hope they are all in movie chase or DD heaven by now. They always made me wince when I saw one - especially in white.

I like Dodges and Plymouths, especially the late 50s - early 60s ones. In fact, I am actively searching for a decent 1962 Dodge for my collection. But these automotive atrocities Chrysler gave us for the better part of a decade after they ceased to make decent cars in the late 70s are just so hideously ugly and were so bland, mundane, badly designed and sloppily built, that one can do hardly more than give out on them. The American public honored them in their day by almost boycotting them - and rightfully so. These cars brought Chrysler Corp to the brink of bancruptcy, which was only rectified by Lee Iacocca - and the American tax payer.

Huh, I do not have much expieriance with any Mopars outside of the Caravan, which was an awsome car. And Chrysler cars always struct me as boring and dull. With the exception of the Charger, 1958 Plymouth lineup and the first generation Durango.

Granfifthlomats are hideously ugly. They should have kept the St. Regis/Newport/Gran Fury and made it more reliable.

Whats with the "Granfifthlomats"? I do not remember a car named that :??: ? Gran Fury, Fifth Avenue and Diplomat or something?

you just got ugly taste, the 70s were Chrysler's glory days in luxury, not even a Cadillac looks that gorgeous...

you are so right! I love the complete R Body series I have a New Yorker myself and I'm really disappointed that the R body series lasted only 3 years. However it was just silly to introduce the M Body this early
