Apparently it was originally built for the Pinder Circus as a living van. It was displayed at Retromobile in Paris on the stand of Carrosserie Lecoq but unfortunately they didn't identify the make. |

It's a Renault 2,5t (year 1952- surely a R 2164 ).The living van is an Assomption . During the sixties many "VIP" sleep in this van (Brigitte Bardot for exemple ...) |

2,5T should be the model name and R2164 the chassis. /vehicles.php?make=Renault&model=2%2C5T&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on |

Jamais de la vie c'est un 2,5T, ça, voyons ! It must be a Saviem (ex-Somua or ex-Latil). |

I'm scrolling through this: http://lesrenaultdepapier.fr/SaviemGammeHaute.htm Perhaps it is a Saviem JL 20 CT, ca 58 or 60. Anyway, I withdraw this "1952 Renault 2,5t [R2164]" appellation. -- Last edit: 2015-02-27 19:47:30 |

Please, the wheels clearly say it's a Renault: Link to "i.pinimg.com" Also, this is not an unknown vehicle, it is a 1952 ex-Circus Pinder Renault 2,5T with Assomption bodywork that is currently waiting to be restored, just like everybody here was saying: Link to "www.raucca.org" |

Renault 'Cirque Pinder' https://www.trucksplanet.com/catalog/model.php?id=1593 One of the first studies of the Assomption company was this residential combination on Renault chassis. It is owned by Spiessert family, former owners of the circus Pinder, and waiting the restoration. |
