Amazon was only publicly used on the Scandinavian market as the German motorcycle manufacturer Kreidler held the trademark right for the name elsewhere. On most markets, including U.S.A. the official name was Volvo 121, 122S, or 123GT. The nickname Amazon was at first spelled in swedish – Amason. |
