cl82 ◊ 2012-02-01 11:27	I think they were available that way straight from the dealerships, but I also think MB needed the help of another small engineering company to develop their 4x4-system IIRC. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of that company

This MB drives on our island Vlieland (Netherlands) This car is special build with an Iglhaut 4x4 system from Marktbreit (Germany), and is the only ambulance with this sytem. On Terschelling our nabour drives an MB-312 Iglhaut (older type). All parts used are from MB, mostly Gelände parts. Steyr-Magna have also a 4x4 system, but is not as good as this one. This car is an automatic one with high and low gear. So it is special build for our beach!! Only form the film we should be stranded Bye the way we have on our island also the Steyr-Magna.
