The British Rover P6 2000 or 3500V8 pre 1971 - These were briely sold to the US which of cause included Hawaii - as of 2012 there are not many left in States - Car was probably chosen to feature in TV series as its so un-usual looking it could pass as a foreign vehicle

For context, this scene is supposed to be set in Northern Ireland (it is, of course, Hawaii, and this is an NADA 2000 P6), and the car itself is being used to portray a Royal Army staff car of sorts for the character of Brigadier Faulkes. Odd choice, given that a LR

They didn't seem to care much about sliding an M-715 in there though!
