The first DKW-Vemag Camionete (brazillian word for station-wagon) was 1956 with rear gate with vertical division. This model with more conventional division was sold in 1957. In 1958, Vemag started with the wider line which remained until 1968. First engines were 3-cylinder 900 (the same of this Camionete 1957) and in 1960 and beyond, the 3-cylinder 1000. The term Universal was written in the handbook, but the car was actually sold as 1957 DKW-vemag Camionete. |
