Possibly... Commer 8cwt van is more likely. The back is too long and upright for the Cob. |

I'd love it to have its own page, especially as I have absolutely no bias whatsoever to the products of the mighty Rootes Group. Not even a little bit. And it is unusual and interesting in this context. But, while agreeing with everyone else's identification of what it is, I am unsure about the name used - Commer (as UK) or Hillman (export) - same problem as /vehicle.php?id=295970 . |

Commersial (Van-pickup...) Hillman (and Singer)was sold as Commer in Norway durring 50s and 60s I dont know if they where sold or badged with other brands-names, but Im no Rootes expert Im only a colletor of old car photos. -- Last edit: 2011-12-18 21:05:45 |
