 No trace of Laureate name in UK. Closest match I can find for sports wheels, body coloured bumpers and rear wash wipe with 1108cc is May 84 until Nov 84 "Le Car 2" which was renamed and tweaked GTL.

Gordini would have pinstriping and eye-catching colour. I guess a diesel, but can't check availability as away from my pile of books.

Not just a aftersales market-toy? In the 80ies you could buy a plenty of such vents for many cars.
