1998 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Gen.1 (UN93) Fitted with automatic ControlTrac all-wheel drive and also the heavy-duty trailer tow package. 1997-1998 models with all-wheel drive are distinct from later models as they have 2High mode, which tells ControlTrac to route torque to the rear-wheels only, imitating conventional rear-wheel drive. 2High mode was dropped for 1999-2002 models, leaving only Auto, 4High (lock), and 4Low (lock) modes, and was reintroduced for the 2003 model. |
