That's right, The door mounted seatbelts first appeared in 1990, This is obviously an unmarked 1987-1989 9C1 Caprice Classic, If it's an '89, Then it'd have the fuel injected 350 V8, The fuel injected 305 V8 or the fuel injected 262 V6, As 1989 was the first year for fuel injection on all those engines, It's extremely unlikely however that Rick Moranis's Caprice 9C1 would have the 262 V6, Even though that was available as a fleet engine on 1987-'89 Caprices, But a lot of Caprices with the 262 V6 were mostly bought by taxi companies, So I'm guessing that Rick Moranis's 1987-'89 9C1 Caprice Classic has either the 305 or 350 V8, Probably most likely the top dog 350.
