I'm curious who list it as 6.9 Maybe, someone believe, that all 450SEL were 6.9?

No, there were "normal" 450 SE and SEL, too: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_W_116

I know I didn't list it like that. Unless my fingers slipped.

For some reasons we don't consider this one
/vehicle_2401-Mercedes-Benz-450-SEL-W116-1976.html
as 6.9 (although it can be visible on car page)
But whis perverted one
/vehicle_62548-Mercedes-Benz-450-SEL-69-Stretched-Limousine-W116-1978.html
got full name listing, despite lack of even rear view.

It's only identifyable by the badge. At least all W116-Benzes are only identifyable by them. Except, if SE or SEL. This is the differend wheelbase.
I'm not really sure, if the car in "Ronin" is a real 6.9. The badge seems not to be in the original position.

Maybe it handle good enough for hydropneumatic suspension? )

But I'm even less sure, that ugly limo in "Knight Rider" is 6.9

@tali - what's your source for the plate data? Have you a Secret Squirrel source?
