Fitted with 27 litre Merlin engine taken from a tank, similar to use in WW2 aircraft such as Spitfire and Lancaster. Engine bought for £1000, total cost under £10,000. Converted to LHD and LPG. Road registered, DVLA details for XBC 497X are: Date of Liability 01 08 2011 Date of First Registration 01 05 1982 Year of Manufacture 1982 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2597CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Licence Not Due Vehicle Colour GREEN Maybe someone forgot to get the form from the Post Office and fill it in.
