Wouldn't exactly argue with that, but it could also be a Toro, Murray or Honda. |

the snapper in your link doesn't match at all... |

maybe the one in my link was a little bit newer but I am sure this is a Snapper even my friend has an old Snapper and thinks this one. |

I didn't say that it wasn't a Snapper, but It did not match your link, and i have yet to find a Snapper that matches, The engine lid is odd and usually Snappers have a large section of flat steel under the steering column, between the front wheels with "SNAPPER" on it in large letters, this one doesn't have that. Although it does say something. A friend that owns an old Snapper is not a valid source (unless his looks EXACTLY like this and we can verify that) Heck I used to be a Snapper dealer (as well as Husqvarna, Honda, Simplicity and eXmark) |

This is bothering me a little because the tractor is a perfect match to the Allis-Chalmers Scamp http://www.highridgetractorparts.com/garden_tractors/scamp1.jpg but the logo looks more like a Toro... |

Maybe they (or another company with a similar logo) made a version under license. In the meantime, as it is such a good match this should be listed as Allis-Chalmers Scamp. |

Or it's just the logo of the dealer. |
