There should be a better way of linking the same car, we have four appearances listed for this one and there are many examples. Maybe through a field for the license plate.

Could be interesting. Some examples I'm aware of if it helps the chin-scratching: a blue Escort RS Cosworth from the Ford Heritage Collection which is constantly being wheeled out for feature programmes, the original Rolls Silver Ghost AX 201, Herbie #53, Bond DB5 BMT 216A, probably lots of iconic race/rally winners from F1 to Monte Carlo Minis. A plate field would be interesting as a means of capturing these (particularly if identities vary between records), though would not always work (unclear photos, race cars without plates, and I'm sure Herbie #53 was not the same car through all the films even if the plate wants us to think it was). Would also be fun for capturing fake/swapped plates used across different cars in many TV series - and possibly a useful guide to accuracy if some of these cars have been dated or identified in the belief the plate was real. Could the plate field be designed to flag up a match to an existing combination when the new one is entered?

Good idea. Even for some more prosaic cars that happens: /vehicle_358004-Vauxhall-Vectra-2005.html

It's also interesting to note that so many fake plates come from other movie cars like the Peugeot Van whose plate was donated to various cars blown up in Spooks.

Used throughout the series but mainly in close-up.
