Combos only started to be made in Spain in 2007 so this has to be made in Portugal:

I think I deciphered this one correctly, VK54WEW. I'll wait to pull more data as I am not sure this is a 'Crew Van'. If someone else can verify the plate for me that would be amazing :)

I believe the check is correct, maybe converted after purchase into a full panel van?

^ apparently Crew Van could be optioned with or without windows according to dsl/sandie's post here.

Also, alex check out the VIN. A normal panel van has 25 as the body style and this one has 06 indicating a wagon variant which is what the Crew Van should have; I believe.

Link to "www.fleetnews.co.uk" - confirms that the seats are foldaway.

This is interesting. I didn't know there were crew vans with paneled windows, must be pretty uncomfortable to drive in

I'd been musing about this one because of the door on the driver side. The linked article says normal van has option of 1 or 2 extra doors, but I guess driver side was rare - only useful if a big bulky load or piece of kit which needs access from both sides to insert or extract; would actually be a disadvantage for a postie or parcels delivery where loads are just chucked in haphazardly, as things could fall out into the road when the door's opened.

So a driver's side door might be a clue for a probable crew van, although not proof. And when mirrored, it can also be applied to LHD Opel Combos.
