the picture quality of this video was so poor..I can't make out if this is supposed to be a line of Tanks/armoured cars.? ..or some kind of Barrier/armoured wall..? |

It looks like Cadillac M37 Howitzer Motor Carriage (1944) based on the M24 'Chaffee' chassis. If you change the aspect ratio to 2:1 it looks better ... well, better is not really the appropriate word ... ![]() |

Most image programs allow to resize picture. Some (like Paint Shop Pro) allow to enter a ratio (so if you put 100% width + a ratio, it computes the new height). Correcting the ratio is easy when picture is uncut, as most of the time it is a standard value (1.33, 1.66, 1.85, 2.35). That's also why I usually suggest to not crop pictures, and take the whole scene ![]() In this case, I am not sure that the aspect ratio has to be so heavily modified, as for other pictures it seems good (or nearly). Well, here is the same picture with a 2:1 ratio, and contrast corrected at the same time: ![]() (but re-compressed, which is not a good thing as the original picture was already in poor state ) -- Last edit: 2006-06-09 12:14:56 |

My image processor allows me to increase the image size, lighten up those [most of them] that are too dark and play around with the contrast button until sonme of the details appear sharper. |
