No XR3i, but a Cabriolet (made in Germany by Karmann) http://www.geting.se/viewimage/image/279967-Snapb5.jpg ;)

If a cabriolet, a 1984 - 86 1.6i, not XR3i. It is possible that the showroom has a newish MkIII on display.

So definitely a late model 1986 Escort Cabriolet 1.6i

(The MkIV cabriolet didn't come out until summer 1986)

The MkIII Cabriolet was never badged as an XR3i, unlike the MkIV.

This has not been proved as a convertible, so could be XR3/XR3i saloon unless anyone can show that it can only be convertible.

Um ... I see what this is now - agree white convertible in that shot. http://www.geting.se/viewimage/image/279968-Snapb7.jpg also has slight glimpse plus a red Mk4 in front (which might be XR3i???), so this white Mk3 is older stock/2nd hand.

The red one is probably a MkIV XR3i, with those factory spotlights. Hard to confirm without seeing the colour-coded mirrors.
