No XR3i, but a Cabriolet (made in Germany by Karmann) http://www.geting.se/viewimage/image/279967-Snapb5.jpg ![]() |

If a cabriolet, a 1984 - 86 1.6i, not XR3i. It is possible that the showroom has a newish MkIII on display. |

So definitely a late model 1986 Escort Cabriolet 1.6i (The MkIV cabriolet didn't come out until summer 1986) -- Last edit: 2011-01-24 22:09:26 |

The XR3i possibility is still open..... |

The MkIII Cabriolet was never badged as an XR3i, unlike the MkIV. /vehicle_167610-Ford-Escort-Cabriolet-1984.html -- Last edit: 2011-01-25 11:21:28 |

This has not been proved as a convertible, so could be XR3/XR3i saloon unless anyone can show that it can only be convertible. |

Um ... I see what this is now - agree white convertible in that shot. http://www.geting.se/viewimage/image/279968-Snapb7.jpg also has slight glimpse plus a red Mk4 in front (which might be XR3i???), so this white Mk3 is older stock/2nd hand. -- Last edit: 2011-01-25 11:38:20 |

The red one is probably a MkIV XR3i, with those factory spotlights. Hard to confirm without seeing the colour-coded mirrors. |
