Yes, 427 cid is approx 7 liters. My guess is that this Shelby Cobra knockoff actually has a Ford 302cid ebgine which is a 5.0 liter engine. Either that or the owner is lying about it for tax purposes. 427 engines are hard to come by and extremely expensive. The 302 is quite common and relatively cheap by comparison. |

Makes no difference for UK tax purposes, the badge is just bullshitting from the builder to impress the ignorant. Unusual it has a Ford engine (302?), most UK Cobra reps are fitted with crate Chevy 350's because they're easy to source. |
