For sure it's not a Lark. It's one of the early Loewy designed coupés, probably a 1953 model, but I think we'll need Commander57 for further identication... |

Can't quite tell if this is a hardtop or coupe (I'm leaning hardtop) but it is definitely in the '54 to '55 range. (Only coupes and hardtops had the chrome trim on top of the rear fenders.) Not a '53, as the trunk lock and nameplates are at the same level. Blurry, but since the taillamps appear to be of the taller, thinner type, I will list as 1954. No way to tell exact model from this view. The model nameplate is on the panel to the right of the trunk lock but of course is too far away to make out as are the emblems ("V-8" for Commander and President; "V-S" for Champion). I am re-classifying this as a '55 as it appears to have the 1955 style bumper. |
