No location info on the IMDB, but I would guess that this was filmed in Israel - which of course was formerly British Mandate Palestine. One of the assistant directors is a certain Joel Silberg, who is/was Israeli.

I think you are right. In the opening credits there is mentioned EL-AL airlines for colaboration.

I'm convinced :) - official cars of the Mandate, or prewar civilian cars for that matter, would certainly be LHD.
