It is supposed to be a CPD. The markings and the Federal Signal Vector light bar are correct for a 95 Cincinnati cruiser but there are some inaccurate details. No CPD car would have had black full-length body molding, like most Crown Vic Interceptors CPD cruisers had (and have) color-keyed (in this case white) body molding that is omitted on the two front doors so that the department logo can be placed there. In Cincinnati it is the river and crown as shown here. Cincinnati police cars did not at the time, and still don't run with full wheel covers, instead preferring the smaller center cap "Dog dishes". In Ohio marked law enforcement vehicles are not required to display traditional license plates so many departments simply have plates made with the number of the unit it is displayed on. In the case of the car above the plate should display the same number as the one above the right tail light and in the same font. (Newer CPD cars just display 1-800-GRAB-DUI plates) Also although you can't see it the car in movie has two spotlights, which is rare in Ohio and unheard of on Cincinnati cars. -- Last edit: 2013-07-12 07:28:39 |
