You're right, as long as we keep the standard 1941 model year for these Art Deco trucks. The (then new) 1946-47 models 2-ton 6xxx models had also that spec...
These 2 "buses" have obviously a chassis-cab basis with a "prison bus" body. So as 1941-42 1½-ton models they were called Heavy Duty by Chevrolet (see the 1941 brochure -Pdf / 28 Mb), and had a YR/MR (134.5" / 3.42 m wheelbase) or YS/MS (160" / 4.06 m wb) chassis code.
