Toyota GB maintain a good archive of information on their models. I only investigated as I was unsure about the 2.7 petrol engine but have found a few things. Technically PowerVan should be in the model name for these Oct 1996-Oct 2000 (it's not a trim level) per the PDF. I always knew this but I've never bothered to sift them out, see also Land Cruisers (which had additional model names on the UK market): https://media.toyota.co.uk/vehicles/hiace-powervan-archive-1996/ (this one is registered the month they announced the change of name) As a 2.7 petrol trim should be GX: https://media.toyota.co.uk/new-2000-model-year-toyota-hiace-powervan/ Also not sure 300 is right, the numbers relate to gross weight (explained here) and the petrol SWB isn't a 3ton model (the link for 2000 models also have them as being a lower weight): https://media.toyota.co.uk/fresh-face-new-engines-for-toyota-hiace/ |
