Toyota GB maintain a good archive of information on their models. I only investigated as I was unsure about the 2.7 petrol engine but have found a few things.

Technically PowerVan should be in the model name for these Oct 1996-Oct 2000 (it's not a trim level) per the PDF. I always knew this but I've never bothered to sift them out, see also Land Cruisers (which had additional model names on the UK market):

As a 2.7 petrol trim should be GX:
