Much of this was filmed near my parents house,and I've seen this old Rambler with it's crunched up fender around Dallas,but not in many years?? (As a note: My Grandfather had a Turquoise/White '62 Falcon SW that was rented out to these movie people,they were looking for older sedans/wagons in particular to park in backgrounds,etc,ran ads in paper,and on radio,it was supposed to be sitting in a driveway in some scene? My Father was the one who drove it there & back everyday,It was filmed for some scenes a few blocks away from their house,Grandfather was too ill to drive,passed before movie debuted,and I wasn't living nearby at the time?? We all rented this movie just to see if we could see 'Suzie'....yes,the car had a name!!...but no luck?) |
