Platform from the 1947-55 Chevrolet Advance-Design / GMC New Design truck lines. Weird model: boogieman's picture shows the 1947-50 side cowl vent with what seems to be 1951+ system of the vent windows that replaced it  Also visible in boogieman's picture: the mark of what looks more like a Chevrolet hood side emblem, and, if indeed a Chevrolet truck, wheel rims and bumper of a " heavy-duty" 1½-ton or a 2-ton model. Both were called Loadmaster from 1947 to 1949, and 4100 / 4400 (1½-ton) or 6100 / 6400 (2-ton) from late 1949 to 1955. -- Last edit: 2015-06-14 05:00:12 |
