robgeelen2 ◊ 2010-06-08 13:12	I agree John, that it is difficult from this POV, and with this quality of image. Oddly enough it seems the car does not have a sunroof, which nearly all of them have. Probaly lost during a less than sympathetic restoration. It also seem to carry a Rolls Royce kneeling Spirit of Ecstacy mascot? THe edging on the rear wheel arches suggest a Mark VI rather than a R-type -- Last edit: 2010-06-08 13:14:34

Odd about the sunroof, but the rubber drain tubing from the corners of the cutout can perish and become clogged, which sets up rust just about everywhere. As you suggest, there could have been a restorer's shortcut, because all the data I have says that the sunroof is standard.
