If I remember correctly, Nissan started building the Sentra in the US for the 1986 model year, so Wikipedia would be correct that this version (B11) of the Sentra could be US built. However, Nissan continued to import Sentras from Japan as well. My ex has a 1992 Sentra E that was made in Japan. You really can't tell where the Sentra was built after 1985. This also applies to most of the Toyota Corollas and Camrys, and Honda Accords and Civics sold in the US during the 80s and 90s. |

In the Chevy ambulance page the Sentra license plate is clearly seen and it's a '83 according to the Calif. smog test site. |
