This was an electric version

It's a electric powered prototype from 1981, made by the company RWE: Link to "www.rwe.com"

20 of them were built.

RWE was sponsor of the Bayer Leverkusen for several years.

Oh yes? I thought, the one and only sponsor was the chemical company Bayer, as it owns this club. The "Bayer" stands for this company, not for Bavaria, "Bayern" in German.
Maybe I'm wrong, as I'm a total football-ignorant, even I'm living in a strong Schalke 04-area. And before some years in the hated rival's town, Dortmund. :)

In fact RWE is responsible for some big devastations. :/ /vehicle_157945-Krupp-Bagger-288-1978.html

Yes, ingo.
I'm collector of football shirts, and have had as much to sponsor Bayer, RWE and now "TelDa Fax" (not sure what it is).
Obviously, the Bayer Leverkusen is run by Bayer.
Too shocking and very sad that these images are showing in the link, painful.

Do you collect just Leverkusen shirts or other those of other clubs too?

Gomselmash11

All the clubs trying to collect. Unfortunately, the money I need and I can not buy many shirts.
But I like to collect football shirts, rugby, and all sports.
I have also sports blog, which took 2 ½ years and on the network.

I can't speak for in Argentina but even here the shirts are ridiculously expensive. I don't even buy the shirt for my team (Aston Villa) every season due to the expense.

And here are much more expensive, due to massive inflation and smuggling from neighboring countries that destroy local industry.
Even the last shirt of my team (Rosario Central), I bought it in 2007 (made by Kappa), since the current (Puma) is ridiculously expensive and is of very poor quality.
