electra225 ◊ 2010-03-15 14:32	At the time of the Rekord D, dealer forgot how to sell the regular Rekords, since they were in the degree to sell more Rekords than before, but among them, about 97 % were Diesels (at the beginning 2100 cc and later 2000 cc just for the Italian market)
Ingo ◊ 2010-03-17 01:08	I thought so, as the most Italian Rekord D, I've seen in reality or here at IMCDB, were Diesel-versions. In Germany it was different, nearly all of them had fuel engines, even the taxi-versions (in 1972 fuel was cheap as never before or later, so noone took care about it). It was indeed the third available Diesel-car, except a very few Borgward and Hansa in the 50ies, available in Germany after the different Mercedes-models and the Peugeots 404 and 504.
