@An_unusual_eye: Are there any visual difference between Australian version and American version besides being right hand drive? |

The Australian market S30s wore bumpers of the style that the S30 Z cars wore in the U.S. only for the 1970-72 model years of the 240z, for the entire 1970-78 S30 run. Additionally, the U.S. version had side marker lights on both the front and the rear corners, while the Australian version (perhaps) only had the front side markers. After 1974, the U.S. got 280z models only, while Australia continued to receive 260z models through 1978. All that being said... the only real variation during the 260z run in australia that i can come up with as it applies to this car, is that these 4 spoke alloy wheels didn't begin to show up on the market until around mid-1976. Presuming that they're original to the car, I guess that we should make this one a 1976 model. The color is code #301 (Light Brown Metallic). |
