It sure does look like a Pete. Maybe he stole the Mack badges and bulldog off someone else's truck

This is a put-together truck. It appears to have started out life as a '50s LT Mack. The cab and radiator shell are LT. The shutters in the radiator are later aluminum, from a Peterbilt or Autocar. The fenders are definitely Peterbilt. The battery box/cab steps are W900 Kenworth, yet the fuel tanks are certainly Freightliner. Headlights are of the type used on Peterbilt. Even the driver's door is altered, with a paddle-style Freightliner latch down low, instead of the traditional old-style twist handle that would have been just under the windo.

Thanks for the multiple IDs :)
If you think it likely started out as a Mack LT, maybe that's what it should be listed as.
