As of the 2010 model year, the Ranger no longer offers an optional limited-slip rear differential (LSD) for rear drive wheel traction assist. AdvanceTrac electronic traction & stability control system with rollover mitigation is now standard and has replaced the LSD for all Ranger pickups. It is the same traction control system that the Expedition and F-150 use and is armed at all 4-wheels to guard against drive wheel traction loss.
