Could be. Regged in 87 but it could have been older.

I'd not seen a 900 with the set of wheels it had. Very old fashioned looking set of steel wheels.

This one has older style bumper, that means pre-1987....

I also don't see the repeater on the front fender either, so pre-1986...

I see SAAB-Scania badge on the bonnet, so 1985 or later...

Dead already?

DVLA wrote The vehicle details for D862 ATF are:

Date of Liability 01 07 2002
Date of First Registration 10 07 1987
Year of Manufacture 1987
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1985CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour RED

I can see that the DVLA must have the model year registered wrong. I assumed that the vehicle must been sitting out for some time before it was purchased as new... :/

I had my Chevrolet Aveo manufactured in Feburary 2007, but I brought it at January 2008 as a new car :)

On basic steel wheels?

Here are some more pictures I've got. Probably a better option for main image?

Well, the instrument panel has turbo boost gauge on it. The wheels could been easily changed...

Looks like a bunch of pictures may have been changed, as comments don't match the pictures. But no, the turbo meter should be on the top half of a cluster with fuel and temp gauges below. Clearly only the two basic meters here, as the top of the fuel indicator is visible.
