With this large white section on the back fenders it would be just Fairlane, and since it´s listed as a Coupe I suppose it´s a Club Hardtop http://amcar.fvn.no/brochures/ford/57fod/bilder/3.jpg |

Nope. This must have been filmed in Canada, because this is a 1957 Meteor Rideau: http://tdconsultingservice.com/Images/57MetfLrg.jpg |

And I knew there was something wrong about the inscription. |

Is this scene supposed to be set in the 50s or 60s? I just narrowed down the school bus to either a 1982 or 1983 model, so it must be an anachronism. |

That really doesn't guarantee it to be in Canada. It could have just been a Canadian who moved to the USA and took his car with him. |

This scene is surely from Vancouver, as the background is looking too wealthy for Ladner. |

I know it was filmed there, but I think it takes place in the US, so the car is not necessarily a mistake, it could have just been a Canadian who moved from Canada to the USA and took his car with him. |

The scene is said to be "30 years ago" in the movie, so presumably late-1970s. The bus is still an anachronism, albeit a very minor one. |
